Is it Wise to give your wife a thousand naira to prepare a pot of soup ?

Yesterday there was a heated argument about whether it is appropriate for a man to give his wife a thousand naira to cook a pot of soup and for how long that will last for. A man named Victor who hails from Edo state made it very clear that he gives his wife a thousand naira to prepare a pot of soup and that same soup lasts for about a week.

A man there opposed him saying he can not do a thing like that.

He was quoted saying that the wife that the said he give a thousand naira to prepare a pot of soup adds her own money to without the knowledge of the husband.  And he also said that he can not go to a restaurant to good food and pay a thousand naira for it because you can not get a good food that cheap.

Mr Victor then made it clear that because he minimizes his spending he has been able to buy two diana vehicles that he hires to people and has built his own houses in different locations in warri Delta state.

 He also added that he trained his children through tertiary education because he disciplined himself and his family.

 At the end of the whole discussion we concluded that lifestyles like these is only possible to achieve if one gets married to a good woman who understands and wants to build a life time achievement with a man and not those women that just wants to live for just today.
